Where will I be playing?

Play some of SA’s most popular golf courses in Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town on SA’s first ever Golf Cruise Classic. The tour will feature a 3-round competition, different formats each day, live leaderboards, with daily leaderboard and course announcements and more…

The participants will be split over a maximum of the 3 golf courses on offer in each city. The highest ranked players on the leaderboard will be allocated to the highest ranked golf courses. See tournament page for tournament rules and format.


Durban Country Club:
Rated one of the Top 100 Golf courses in the World, The Durban Country Club offers an unrivalled golfing experience, catering to golf enthusiasts and professionals. And with its world class sporting and leisure facilities, the Club is a fitness hub, social retreat and place of entertainment and relaxation for the whole family.

Mount Edgecombe Country Club:
Mount Edgecombe Country Club is neatly tucked away in the rolling hills of KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. Plus, inland of Umhlanga Rocks it boasts two unique championship courses, designed around the natural lie and habitat of the land. Being ideally located for users both local and afar, Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estates has been acclaimed for many years as one of the premier golfing Estates in Southern Africa; thus giving you an overwhelming sense of tranquility, safety and enchantment.

Zimbali Country Club:
Zimbali Coastal Estate is a special piece of paradise on the North Coast of KZN, with the Zimbali Country Club one of the focal areas within a destination that houses many attractions. The 18 hole Tom Weiskopf designed course is an extremely popular choice for golfers from all parts of the world, with the variety of holes within a forest and others with ample sea views ensuring that your experience is one to be remembered.

Port Elizabeth:

Port Elizabeth Golf Club:
Recognised as Port Elizabeth’s premier course this 18-hole undulating parkland course is in the heart of the city, just minutes from the beach and the hotels. It is the second oldest registered golf club in South Africa, founded in 1890. The most significant change in recent years was the introduction of putter bent grass greens. The PEGC has two nines of equal par 36 for a total of par 72.

Wedgewood Golf and Country Estate:
Wedgewood is not just a Golf Course surrounded by homes. In fact, it is a natural stretch of land with large parts of undisturbed fauna and flora – with a golf course and residential zones. The Golf Village offers gorgeous views of the golf course – greens, fairways and tranquility galore, whilst the Lifestyle Village offers buyers with a love of nature the perfect environment, boasting views of veld and greenery from most stands.

Humewood Golf Club:
Home to one of the world’s most challenging links courses, Humewood is consistently ranked as one of South Africa’s Top 10 golf courses. Found in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, the golf course is a genuine seaside links, with wide and undulating fairways, fast greens and thick coastal bush. A round is a must for any golfer visiting the ‘Friendly City’ of Port Elizabeth.

Cape Town:

Royal Cape Golf Club:
Come and experience the charm of South Africa’s oldest golf course. In the Shadow of Table Mountain lays the Royal Cape Golf Club, established in 1885. They are the current hosts of the Cape Town Open and 10 previous South African Opens. Experience the challenge, charm and tradition of the classic layout.

Erinvale Golf Course:
Erinvale Golf Course is without a doubt one of the best Golf Courses in South Africa. Surrounded by the majestic Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains. It offers two very distinctly different nines. The first nine winds its way through narrow fairways flanked by exquisite properties, blending in perfectly with the landscape and environment. The second nine flows beautifully into the foot of the Helderberg’s and eventually offers the most rewarding and magnificent sweeping views over False Bay, surrounding vineyards, olive groves and Helderberg Nature Reserve.

De Zalze Golf Course:
The De Zalze Golf Course is situated within the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate.
The course is the perfect test for all golfers. The course has an excellent mix of parkland holes, as well as the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen river which winds its way through the Golf Estate and comes into play at various intervals. The course offers a memorable Winelands golf experience for all skill levels.

The included list of golf courses in the SA Golf Cruise package may be subject to change in the event of any weather conditions or for any other reason out of our control. Should such a situation occur, SA Golf Cruise will endeavour to book a golf course of comparable standard, and all booked guests would be notified of the change and replacement venue at the earliest opportunity.
